Southwell City Football Club has unveiled an exciting new partnership with Nike that will revolutionise the club’s approach to playing kit across all age groups. The announcement marks a significant step forward for one of Nottinghamshire’s largest grassroots football clubs.
The new agreement will see Nike supply all playing kits for the club, addressing long-standing challenges around kit availability and consistency. The partnership introduces a specially designed sublimated kit exclusive to Southwell City, ensuring a professional and unified look across all teams.
Pictured in the new Nike kit are U10s players Daisy Littmann, Georgia Cassidy, Billiey Girling and Maddie Richmond, who were among the first to preview the design.
Chairman John Cunningham says “This partnership will provide us with a standardised kit design across all 45 of our teams, featuring a unique Southwell City sublimation, creating a strong sense of unity and identity for our club. There will also be away kit and training kit options, as well as access to a full range of Nike training wear.”
The partnership extends beyond just kit provision, with the club announcing planned investments in new folding goals for the Memorial Ground and renovations to the clubhouse. The deal also includes additional funding for coach development, further strengthening the club’s commitment to player development at all levels.
The new Nike kit is expected to be rolled out across junior teams for the 2024/25 season, with senior teams transitioning the following year.
