The Southwell City U12 Inclusivity and Disability team is shining brightly in their inaugural season in the FA EMPD League. Playing on the second Sunday of every month, this dedicated group has already tasted victory in their first competitive month. But more importantly, they’re fostering a spirit of camaraderie on the field where everyone celebrates successes together.
Operating under the FA Comets programme, the team provides a safe space where disabled children can belong and just be themselves. The initiative encourages children to use their imagination and explore a world of endless possibilities. Southwell City established this squad to embrace the Comets ethos, offering weekly training sessions on Wednesdays from 6-7pm that welcome players of all abilities in a flexible environment focused on playfulness, friendships, and fun.
